Try the following recipe for a spin on the traditional chocolate chip recipe adding cherries and Patique Cherry Liqueur! Bon Appetit!!
Patique Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 ¼ c. unsifted flour
1 t. baking soda
½ t. salt
1 c.(2 sticks) butter, softened
¾ c. sugar
¾ c. brown sugar, packed
1 T. Patique Cherry Liqueur
1 ½-2c. mini chocolate chips
1 c. chopped fresh or frozen cherries
Preheat oven to 375°F. Stir flour with baking soda and salt; set aside. Beat butter with sugar and brown sugar at medium speed until creamy. Add Patique Cherry Liqueur and eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed until incorporated.
Gradually blend dry mixture into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips, cherries and nuts (if desired). Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
Ice cookie with ½ c. powdered sugar, 1 T. Patique Cherry Liqueur and red food coloring or color of choice. Drizzle on cookies.
