If you want to try a delicious treat, give this a whirl! It incorporates Patique in the cherry compote. With a delicious crust and cheesecake middle, what a treat!! Enjoy!

1 1/2 cups ground graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup brown sugar
4 Tbsp. butter, melted

Cheesecake Filling
1 -8oz. package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tea vanilla extract
1/4 cup Confectioners Sugar

Cherry Compote Topping
2 cups frozen pitted sweet cherries or fresh pitted ones 2 TBL cornstarch 1 t. lemon juice 2 Tbsp. Patique Cherry Liqueur 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 – 3/4 cup water

Crust instructions:
Blend the graham cracker crumbs with the sugar and butter. Press into your glass jar. Chill.
Filling instructions:

Beat the cream cheese until it is fluffy, adding in the heavy cream, Patique Cherry Liqueur, lemon juice and sugar. Beat until smooth and fluffy. Place the filling in the jar on top of your crust, allowing room for the compote on top. Chill.

Cherry Compote instructions: Blend the cornstarch with a small amount of water and stir it until it is smooth. Add all ingredients, including the cornstarch, to a pot and bring it to a boil. Lower the temperature to a simmer for about 8 to 10 minutes until thickened. Cool for a bit. Then top your jars with the compote.
